Egypt Japan Joint Business Council Roundtable Meeting

In the presence of the Egyptian Ambassador to Japan and the Japanese Ambassador to Egypt, and representatives of the Investment Authority, the Ministry of Trade and Industry and council members from both sides

Objectives: Information exchanges on the recent business environments surrounding Egypt and Japan in anticipation of the next joint meeting, and business interactions.

Date and Time: 17：00 – 18：20 (JST)/ 10：00 – 11：20 (EST), Wednesday 17th February, 2021

Style: Zoom online meeting <Cairo－Tokyo>; the main real venue on Tokyo side remains to be seen.

Participants:  members of EJBC and JEBC

Language: Arabic-Japanese simultaneous interpretation

Agenda: The recent business environments surrounding Egypt and Japan, the impact of COVID-19 under the present situation, investment bottlenecks faced by start-ups and the councils’ members, what was realized after TICAD 7, preparations for activities in 2021, etc.
